 The Mars Volta was formed by guitarist Omar Rodriguez Lopez and vocalist Cedric Bixler Zavala following the break up of At the Drive-In. Frances the Mute their second album is one of the most intense albums of this past decade taking you through smooth jazz to chaotic breakdowns and features a crazy story. In my opinion the greatest album of all time, Frances the Mute!
